Bel Mercy

Los Angeles–based folk-rock duo

Bel Mercy is an LA-based duo made up of Canadian-born Kristen and Chris. Completely independent, their sound is a blend of folk and classic rock influences that aims to channel the spirit of 1970s California. Having met as kids and now twenty years into a relationship, they’ve accumulated enough shared history to keep writing songs about it.

Their second single, “Better Days,” has been described as an uplifting song that “captures the uneasy space between doubt and hope” with a compelling musical “push and pull [which] mirrors the reality of change.”
