Bel Mercy
Los Angeles–based folk-rock duo
Bel Mercy is a Canadian-born, LA-based folk-rock duo made up of Kristen and Chris. Their music borrows from the 1970s tradition of putting two voices, a little tension, and a lot of history in the same song. Having met as kids and now more than twenty years into their relationship, they’ve got plenty of the latter.
Their second single, “Better Days,” has been described as an uplifting track that “captures the uneasy space between doubt and hope,” with a musical “push and pull” that “mirrors the reality of change.”
